April 2026 figures compiled from REALTORS Association of Edmonton data show 47 Stony Plain sales at an average of $380,000 and 72 days on market, compared with 34 days a year earlier. New construction followed a different pattern: 33 year-to-date sales averaged $538,850, up from $464,383 the prior year. Cleaning cannot set the sale price, but a vacant, detailed interior removes an avoidable presentation problem before photography or a buyer walkthrough. Rentals create a second handover stream: 1,925 of 7,135 households rent.
